Magnus Trujillo
Magnus is the last of his full Accoyo sire's line, and has fineness, crimp and luster in abundance. He is particularly exciting for us, as the grey markings around his face, and his dark toenails, combined with the color in his heritage, suggest the potential to produce elite-fibered colored alpacas. His dam, Goldie is a full Peruvian light fawn female, with crimp, fineness, good density and handle, and beautiful consistency to her fleece, which earned her the second place ribbon in a very competitive 2003 AOBA Nationals fleece show. A great mother and milker, Goldie has a perfect bite, solid conformation and a gorgeous head and top knot, and is proven to produce colored offspring. Magnus was sired by the full Accoyo Trujillo Alto Peru (deceased), an impressive son of Ppperuvian Mr President and a medium fawn dam, 4Peruvian Eurynome. Trujillo had incredible coverage and density, accompanied by a consistent, tight crimp, and at 5 years of age, his fiber was still exquisite - 18.6 AFD with an SD of 3.9 and 0.7 % of fibers over 30 micron. Available for sale.

Awards: When Magnus was only 6 months old, Tim Lavan awarded him a 5th in a class of 13 juvenile fawn males at PAOBA in 2007, commenting on his brightness and hand. His juvenile fiber won a second place in the 2007 VAOBA SpinOff, a third place out of 13 entries in the huge OABA 2007 Spinoff and a first out of 6 in the 2007 LA Deep South Show Spinoff competition. In 2008, his juvenile fiber won first out of 12 entries in the prestigious National Fiber to Fashion Spinoff, second in the Spinoff at MAPACA 2008, the largest alpaca show in the US, first at the PAOBA Breeders Showcase and second out of 9 entries in the AOBA National SpinOff competition. His yearling fiber won first out of 13 entries at the 2008 VAOBA Expo, earning a score of 93, the second highest in the entire SpinOff competition, first place in the 2008 OABA SpinOff and another first place in the 2009 Virginia Classic SpinOff!
