Kerensa is a beautiful, true black, proven dam, with multiple blue ribbons, including first out of 11 juvenile black entries at National level in the Fiber to Fashion SpinOff, and first out of 9 with a score of 94/100 in the big OABA SpinOff. Her dam is a 3/4 Peruvian, MaPaca ribbon-winner and her sire is Patagonia's Compadre, a true black" son of Caballero Andante from Alpacas de la Patagonia. At 2 years of age, Compadre had a fiber analysis of 20.6 AFD, 3.4 SD, 16.5 CV and 1.2% > 30 microns, with an 8lb shearing weight - phenomenal for a true black out of two blacks. Kerensa is a proven producer of black and grey and a great mother. Thistledown "La-La" Thistledown "Tiny1"  
Born October 24, 2011 and nicknamed "LaLa", this young lady is the daughter of our MAPACA brown fleece Champion Nola and our award-winning, color Champion-producing white male, Tundra. Very happy with the density, lock structure, crimp, conformation and staple length on this 15/16 Peruvian girl and would be more than happy to keep her in our colored breeding program! Like her sire, Tundra, she is a "white-spot white". In the photo above you can see the patterning in her cria fleece, which has now faded. Her genetics will enable her to produce solid, colored offspring with elite fiber characteristics - bred with solid, colored males, she should produce 50% solid and 50% patterned offspring. Don't miss your chance to buy her at this price while she is young - this girl has the potential to produce color Champions! Thanks and congratulations to Shannon and David! Tiny1 is destined to become a medium rose grey when she grows up. Her dam, Blush, is a Champion-producer, with fine, dense, crimpy, solid maroon fiber. Her sire is our 3X dark silver grey Champion PV Nikos, also a Champion-producer, with excellent soft-handled, crimpy fiber, which has held fineness over time, a key characteristic in breeding alpacas. Tiny1 is developing into that rare and beautiful "pink" rose grey, that we truly value in our breeding program. We are very reluctant to put her on our sales list, but she and LaLa have grown up together and would do better going to a new home together.
