A
daughter of the rose grey Checkoff and a maroon dam from the '98 import,
Paradigm is a very beautiful dark rose grey female. Her sire Checkoff, a son of the famous Majestado of Peru, has all the
characteristics of a quality herdsire - strong bone, incredible presence,
excellent conformation and coverage from head to toe. Checkoff has
absolutely amazing fiber, with excellent uniformity and fineness, incredible
density and a consistent bold crimp. Paradigm's dam, Paraguari, is a top
quality production female with excellent mothering abilities, who has maintained a fine fleece, with excellent uniformity and luster -
her fiber was still being shown when she was 6 years old, and still
winning over full Peruvian fleeces! Paradigm has fine fiber, with
beautiful handle, excellent staple length and a bold crimp. Her bone
structure is substantial, her conformation balanced, and she has great
coverage. Paradigm was bred with the silver grey Champion Ben
MacDhui in Spring 2008.
Awards: Paradigm placed second at the 2005 Southern Select, in a competitive full fleece halter class judged by Shannon McConnell. Paradigm placed 4th in a large class at the 2005 Kentucky Classic, judged by Julio Sumar. Her juvenile fiber placed first at National Level, in the 2005 AOBA Fiber to Fashion HandCrafter's SpinOff competition, in a combined grey/multi class, where she scored 91 points out of a possible 100! Paradigm's yearling fleece was awarded a red ribbon by Kristin Buhrmann at MaPaca 2005, in competition with light and medium rose grey fleeces. |

Paradigm |
Paradigm brings quality, and rare, diverse
maroon and rose grey genetics to our herd. Her dam is a maroon Chilean
import and such an outstanding mother that she successfully raised an orphaned
cria alongside one of her own offspring. Paradigm's rose grey sire is the
son of a maroon imported dam and the medium fawn Peruvian Majestado of Peru,
who was imported in utero.
We plan to show Paradigm, before she is bred with King Crimson, a full Peruvian true maroon son of 5Peruvian Camelot and CPeruvian Dahna, both true maroon Peruvian imports. |
