A proven half-Peruvian black beauty out of two black parents, Miss
Wise has lovely crimpy fiber, very nice conformation and a rare
bloodline. She is one of only 11 registered offspring sired by Lanark’s Obsession
(deceased), a phenomenal black Peruvian male with excellent conformation,
good bone and outstanding fiber. Her dam is Miss Midnight Madness, who represents all the
desirable qualities of a foundation female - fleece, conformation, milk
and maternal traits. Miss Wise’s dam and silver half brother have both
won national ribbons for their fiber, so this girl represents the next
generation in blacks and has a great breeding future ahead of her. Miss
Wise's first cria is Demelza, a beautiful red/brown female, and her second
a black male, Hamilton, sired by the
multiple ribbon-winning rose grey herdsire, Royal Peruvian Challenger. |

 Royal Peruvian Challenger |
Royal Peruvian Challenger is a nationally recognised herdsire with show presence, beautiful conformation, and
remarkable fiber qualities. In 1999 his conformation made him the National
winner of the shorn class out of 23 alpacas. His fiber took second
nationally in 1999 and tied for first in the 2000 National Handcrafters’
SpinOff competition.
Challenger is a rare dark rose grey full Peruvian macho whose offspring are in great demand. Our light fawn bred female Rhiannon is a full Peruvian daughter of Royal Peruvian Challenger, who recently produced a rose grey son out of our champion silver grey male, Ben MacDhui. We believe that Miss Wise's April 2004 cria will also be exceptional, and has a good chance of being either black or rose grey. |

Miss Wise has
inherited a rare bloodline from her true black Peruvian sire, Lanark's
Obsession. She is one of only a handful of offspring sired before his
unexpected demise, just before the National AOBA show. He was a very
well-regarded male out of two black Peruvian imports who was
"discovered" on a small farm, and already had a breeding
contract with Snowmass Alpacas, which he was never able to fulfill.
Miss Wise's dam, affectionately known as M&M, is an excellent black foundation female who has won awards for her own fiber and produced award winning offspring. Miss Wise is a tall, intelligent alpaca with dramatic presence who has inherited her dam's excellent mothering abilities. She produces plenty of milk and has proven to be a very protective and caring mother. |
