Field Day of the Past,

beautiful, friendly alpacas here on the farm and maybe meet some of our brand new Fall crias! Take advantage of this great opportunity to make an early start on
your Christmas shopping - we offer craft kits, socks, yarn and roving
made from our own alpacas, which make unique and environmentally- friendly
gifts, many for under $20! We will have a selection of young males
available for sale as fiber animals or pets, without their ARI registration
papers, plus we offer show-quality colored alpacas for your breeding herd. As always, you are
welcome to call and arrange a personal farm visit at any time to learn
more about alpacas. NO DOGS PLEASE. they
scare the alpacas, plus we have working Great Pyrenees livestock guard
dogs, who live with and protect our alpacas 24X7 and do NOT welcome other
dogs!

Pirates at the Virginia Renaissance Faire

Spring 2013 Event Highlights:
April Shearing Tour in Virginia: April 1 - April 21, 2013. This year we
organized shearing for around 1400 alpacas at about 40 farms in Virginia. This is
the twelfth year we have scheduled the shearing route in this area for our
friends at Alleypac shearing. If you need help with shearing in
2014, please email us ASAP at

1st Annual Powhatan Fiber Festival, Powhatan VA. April 27, 2013
Really enjoyed this first year fiber festival in Powhatan, VA. We
brought french angora rabbits and all manner of fiber products and had a

40th Annual Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, West Friendship, MD - May 4-5,
2013. We
enjoy exhibiting at the Maryland fiber festival every year, offering our
colored french angora rabbits for sale, and selling natural fiber yarns,
rovings and craft kits made from our own fiber animals. For

Virginia
Renaissance Faire, Lake Anna Winery, Spotsylvania, VA - May 25-26, 2013. The
RenFaire takes place over 5 themed weekends during May and early June. We brought
three of our alpacas along over the Memorial Day "pirate" weekend, plus
alpaca yarn, socks, roving and craft kits for sale. Our "long-necked
sheep that fell off the back of a Spanish galleon" are a very popular
attraction, and we enjoy meeting all the patrons at the Faire. Come and
meet the dedicated cast and crew at this wonderful family event - learn to
dance around the maypole, make Elizabethan rag dolls, stamp leather
bookmarks and bracelets, try your hand at archery, enjoy wandering
minstrels, acrobats, magicians, theatre productions and the progress of
