Hisami
Hisami is a beautiful true black daughter of Danko, possibly the top grey herdsire in the country, whose offspring have set auction price records and taken ribbons in every showring. She has extremely fine (20.3 AFD), soft-handled fleece, and comes from a solid black and grey lineage. Her dam is a "blue black" Macintosh daughter, with two generations of black in her background and a micron of 24.4 at 4 years of age. Hisami has a lovely typey head, very nice conformation and a sweet, curious temperament. She has proven herself to be a powerhouse of a mother - giving birth to her first cria without assistance in only 5 minutes, and nurturing her to over 70lbs in just 5 short months! Her 2003 cria is Ishbel, a black female with fantastic fleece sired by the rose grey El R Peruvian Luciano. In 2004, Hisami produced Iona, a true black daughter sired by the champion true black male CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon, and she will be rebred with Ben MacDhui, our Champion silver grey herdsire, for her next cria. To date, Dhui has produced exclusively grey and black offspring out of beige, maroon and dark brown dams.

Awards: Hisami is the dam of two of our favorite show quality girls - the award-winning dark silver grey Ishbel, and the solid true black Iona.

Hisami
In 2003 Hisami gave birth to her first daughter, the bay black/dark silver grey Ishbel, sired by the medium rose grey El R Peruvian Luciano. In 2004, Hisami produced her second daughter, the solid true black Iona, sired by the multiple award-winning true black CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon. Dhui is a medium silver grey herdsire with exceptional density and lock structure to his award winning fleece, excellent conformation, an exquisite typey head, and a truly delightful temperament. He also has a strong grey/black pedigree reaching back four generations.

Sire, Danko

Daughter, Ishbel, January 2004
Hisami's sire is Danko, who needs no introduction - he has more ribbon winning grey crias than any grey in the country and has thrown multiple color champions in black, fawn and brown! Danko's cria have won dozens of top awards, including 2002 AOBA National grey male champion, juvenile black male champion, and yearling black female champion, and 2001 AOBA grey male champion, grey female champion and black female champion. He is a phenomenal herdsire with outstanding coverage and conformation and an AFD of 21.4 at 2 1/2 years of age. Hardly surprisingly, Danko's bloodline is in very strong demand!
