Peaceful Valley Brianna
Brianna is a rare light silver grey half-accoyo daughter of Aussie Rockford, the grey herdsire who placed first at the 2001 AOBA Nationals in both adult male halter and the fleece show - quite an accomplishment! Rockford's fiber is dense, crimpy and fine, with a micron count of 21.1/5.0/23.7/4.4 in his third year. Brianna's dam is a solid black half-accoyo sired by Ppperuvian Yupanqui, and her grandsire on her father's side is the renowned Pperuvian Felix. Brianna is very straight, with a magnificently pretty and typey head. She has extremely dense fleece, which is fine, with a very defined, tight crimp. Brianna is an exceptional female with breathtaking fiber, bred with the silver grey Champion Ben MacDhui in Spring 2008. 

Awards:  Brianna's yearling fleece won a blue ribbon in her class and Champion of all the multi/grey huacaya fleeces at MaPaca 2004, described as "the largest alpaca event on the planet, ever"! Her fleece also placed second in the juvenile class. Brianna's 2005 fleece was awarded a red ribbon by Kristin Buhrmann at MaPaca 2005, with over 200 fleeces in the show.

Brianna's sire is Aussie Rockford, an eyecatching half-accoyo silver grey with excellent conformation and an exceptional fleece - dense, crimpy and fine with suberb lock structure and sheen. He has a very beautiful head, proud presence and a wonderful temperament. He is throwing mostly silver, rose grey and black offspring, even out of beige, fawn and brown dams.

Grandsire, Ppperuvian Yupanqui
Rockford is out of a medium silver grey dam, Hannahruh, and Accoyo Pperuvian Felix, who has perfect conformation and stature and is one of the country's most respected herdsires. He sheared 13 1/2 pounds of fiber after one year's growth when he was 2 1/2 years old, whilst maintaining an AFD of less than 19 microns. At 8 years of age, he produced 12 1/2 pounds of 23.4 micron fiber.

Brianna's dam, Celina, is a black, half-accoyo sired by the renowned Accoyo Ppperuvian Yupanqui and a maroon dam, Celestine Promise. Accoyo Yupanqui was the number one pick of the 1996 importation and he throws all colors. He was mentioned by Don Julio Barreda as one of the top herdsires in the U.S. At 5 years of age, Yupanqui had a shearing weight of 11lbs of 20.8 micron fiber with a CV of 20.1.

Brianna's great grandparents on her sire's side are both remarkable greys. NWA, Ltd. Ike is a Chilean herdsire out of two blacks, who was born in 1990 and still producing in 2002. He has sired many outstanding, award-winning crias in a variety of colors, including grey, rose grey, black and brown.

Kelly's Ticaboo has produced a whole herd of award-winning greys. Her daughter, son and grandson have all won blue ribbons and she won a blue ribbon for her medium rose grey fleece at the 1999 Estes Park Wool Market. At 7 years of age, her fiber analysis was an amazing  20.4 / 4.2 / 20.6 / 2.9% > 30 microns. As of 2003, she was still producing top quality rose grey offspring.
