An eye-catching dark fawn and white pinto princess, she has fineness, density
and grey genetics out of Patagonia's herd. A daughter of the grey Ulysses,
who at 6.5 years of age had a histogram of 21.7/ 4.6/ 21.2/ 5.3 > 30,
Aurora is also a Mr. President granddaughter, with the personality,
conformation and looks to match her outstanding heritage. Aurora is a
reliable producer of quality offspring. In 2004 she
gave birth to a solid brown female with black points, sired by a
multiple award-winning light brown Accoyo
Pluro grandson. In 2005 she produced a most unusual vicuna-fawn
colored male with fine lustrous fiber and grey markings, sired by a
multiple award-winning dark brown male. In 2006 she produced a pinto
daughter, and in 2007 a solid fawn daughter, both sired by our black
Reserve Champion full Peruvian male, PC Peruvian Knightrider.
Awards: Aurora placed first in halter at the 2002 Estes Park Wool Market, first at the 2002 HARTS Fall Fiber Festival, and first at Alpacas 4U, Lincoln NE 2002. In 2004, she won another blue ribbon in the MaPaca 2004 fleece show, with 200 fleeces in show.

An award-winning, inquisitive pinto princess
with beautiful conformation, Aurora also has very nice density and staple
length. In 2002 she sheared 5.2 lbs of blanket fiber with an analysis of AFD 21.8;
SD 3.5; CV 16.3; > 30 microns 1.9. Aurora's sire is
Patagonia's superfine grey Ulysses, and her dam is a white daughter of Peruvian
Aurora is a reliable producer and a great mother and milker. She has produced three solid-colored offspring, and one fawn and white pinto, from breedings with solid males. To date, she has produced a cria every year for us - three girls and one boy - and has maintained great conformation, staple length and coverage.
